Rev. Chris McFadden is an Ottawa native who is very excited to be called by God and Cherry Street Wesleyan Church as the current pastor. He earned his undergraduate degree in Pastoral Ministry from Oklahoma Wesleyan University in 2006 and has served in ministry for nearly 17 years. Chris was ordained in the Wesleyan Church in 2010. In 2018, he completed a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) at Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan University. He is currently a Doctor of Ministry (D. MIn.) student at Wesley Seminary in Spiritual Formation.

 

Chris made one of the best decisions of his life when he married his beautiful wife Suzanne in 2006. They have two wonderful daughters: Maddy and Nora. Chris has a passion to see the people of God grow in their knowledge of the scriptures, to understand themselves honestly and to see themselves as God sees them, and to grow more mature as deeply committed followers of Jesus Christ. He is deeply passionate about studying the Bible and practicing good theology as well as generous hospitality. Outside of ministry and school, Chris loves anything and everything nerdy: Star Wars, Marvel, fantasy and science fiction, board games and tabletop games.
